Planning Consent Granted
A meeting of Bradford Council’s planning committee before Christmas granted consent for the first 139 houses in Urbo’s New Bolton Woods project. Urbo is in negotiations with a number of potential partners to deliver the houses and hopes to start work on site in the summer.
Chesterfield Waterside has once again entered the Top 100 study for UK regeneration projects run by Planning Magazine.
We will find out next year how the project compares to its #50 placing in 2011. Our Bradford scheme at New Bolton Woods may be entered next year if the planning consent is achieved in 2012, allowing it to qualify for the list.
How Planning has been appointed by Urbo to manage the outline planning application for its £250m New Bolton Woods project in Bradford.
This large scale regeneration scheme aims to transform some 200 acres of north Bradford and provide around 1,500 new homes in a sustainable settlement.
