Chesterfield Waterside is an exciting new mixed-used development the heart of the historic market town of Chesterfield in Derbyshire, being delivered by our sister company, Chesterfield Waterside Limited.

Built across 16 hectares on the edge of the town centre, Chesterfield Waterside is an exciting, high quality £340million regeneration scheme. Owing to the scale of the site, the masterplan is split into five character areas which will be delivered on a phase-by-phase basis. Sitting on the edge of Derbyshire’s famous Peak District and close to the three major cities, Chesterfield Waterside is the ultimate destination to live, work, play and invest.

Waterside boasts design and quality that is unrivalled in and around the local area, as well as an enviable position next to Chesterfield’s mainline train station which will welcome an HS2 stop in 2034.

A parcel of land, known as Waterside Quarter has been acquired by Avant Homes for the development of 173 two, three and four-bedroom homes wChesterfield Waterside. Construction began in 2019 and the first homes released for sale in 2020. All available plots have been sold with the final plots selling quickly off-plan, showcasing the excellent opportunity available at Waterside. The first element of commercial delivery at the scheme is underway, following construction of the new office building, known as One Waterside Place, which was completed in October 2022 with the first tenants, BHP Chartered Accountants and Varley Clothing, making the move to their new home in November 2022. One Waterside Place sits within the £75 million first phase of the Basin Square neighbourhood. It represents the first step in delivering the commercial element of Chesterfield Waterside.
